This charming holiday cottage adjoins the owner’s country house, standing in 2 acres in a rural position and is in an excellent location to explore the attractions and stunning landscapes of Devon and Cornwall.

The ground floor entrance hall includes coat and storage cupboards and doors lead to the double aspect kitchen/dining area and the triple aspect sitting room with a wood burning stove. Stairs lead up from the entrance hall to the 1st floor landing, and two spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom is delightfully furnished and has its own modern en-suite. The double bedroom features a 5-foot bed and en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. The twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room and toilet. Both bedrooms are double-aspect with lovely views of the gardens, meadow and nearby forestry and the hills of Dartmoor beyond.

All linen will be provided (i.e., bed linen, bathroom towels, kitchen towels, and t-cloths), but please bring your own beach towels. Electricity and the central oil-fired heating is included in the tariff.

There is a separate laundry for guest use situated in the Old Cob Barn. The garden has a private patio and steps leading up to a lawn with feature shrubs and wonderful colours for most of the year.

Garden furniture including parasol, chairs, recliners, and barbecue is provided. The garden is secluded with a gate that opens to a wild flower meadow and small copse belonging to Howards Gorhuish. Guests are free to wander around and take in the fine views of Dartmoor and Exmoor.
